Just over 40% of Germans agree that immigration erodes traditional culture
Perceptions of whether traditional culture is enriched or eroded by immigration are structured by PPS. Just over 50% of Germans with the highest PPS think immigration erodes traditional culture. This is more than twice the percentage of Germans with the lowest PPS who agree immigration erodes traditional culture.
More than 50% of Germans with the highest SSMP think immigration erodes traditional culture. By contrast, those Germans with the lowest SSMP appear polarized on the question with 40% agreeing immigration enriches traditional culture while another 40% think it erodes it.
