German's feeling about whether EU integration “should go further” or “has gone too far” are skewed toward gone too far.
Germans with the highest PPS are more likely to agree that EU integration has gone too far.
Germans on the ideological right are even more likely to agree that EU integration has gone too far.
In a model that includes PPS, ideology, SSMP, and a wide range of demographics, PPS remains statistically and substantively significant. The higher a German’s PPS, the more likely they are to think EU integration has gone too far.
In the same model, ideology also remains significant. Thus, those on the right of the ideological spectrum are more likely to say EU integration has gone too far.
SSMP also predicts attitudes about EU integration.
